The Seasonal Allergies Stack
Product Description
Seasonal Allergies Sucks – especially if you are in Victoria or Canberra here in Australia where the highest rates of seasonal allergy complaints are recorded.
If you experience hay fever and seasonal allergies, you know how much it can affect your quality of life—constant sneezing, a stuffy nose, itching, and discomfort that can get in the way of enjoying your day. You might find it hard to concentrate at work or school, struggle to get a good night’s sleep, and feel constantly tired or irritable.
While conventional treatments can help, they often come with side effects like drowsiness or dry mouth (or worse), and they don’t always work well for everyone. Seeking a safe and effective natural remedy is top priority for many.
This stack is a game changer for those dealing with seasonal discomfort.
“I’ve been taking the quercetin and black seed combo for hayfever relief and my lordie, I haven’t been outside this late in the year without severe consequences in YEARS. I’ve been veggie gardening, folding laundry outside at the washing line with no ill effect. The last two years I’ve broken out in hives because my histamine response was so acute. Freaking life changers!!”
A randomised controlled trial found that black seed can significantly improve allergy symptoms-
- Reduced nasal congestion and irritation
- decreased eye itching and watering
- shortened duration of allergy episodes
- improved overall quality of life for participants.
Black seed oil has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years, and recent studies show it can be very effective at reducing symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Its active compound thymoquinone appears to work by modulating the immune response, reducing inflammation, supporting healthy airway function and stabilizing mast cells that release histamine.
What’s even better is that black seed doesn’t just mask symptoms like over the counter antihistamines but rather it helps optimise your body’s overall immune function, appears to help your body build resilience over time, providing longer-term benefits and improved general state of being.
Black seed oil is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, metabolic health stabiliser, anti histamine and SO much more without any negative side effect.
Paired with Quercetin and we have an incredible duo for supporting hyperactive immune responses.
Quercetin has a long story of usage in human history and is a naturally occurring polyphenol flavonoid rich in antioxidants found in onions, broccoli; fruits, apples, berries, grapes and green/white tea.
It has anti-allergic functions that are known for inhibiting histamine production and pro-inflammatory mediators with excellent immunomodulatory properties proving it a powerful ally for the likes of bronchial asthma responses, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis.
Oral use of Quercetin is well studied and is found to –
- Significantly inhibited nasal symptoms eg, sneezing, nose rubbing, nasal dripping, mucus hypersecretion.
- Decreased allergic airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness.
- Inhibit mast cell activation and eosinophil activation at a comparable level to Cromolyn.
“It has the potential to reduce the most significant pathologies of asthma such as eosinophil and neutrophil recruitment, the activation of bronchial epithelial cells, collagen and mucus production and airway hyperactivity.” – Pubmed
Both Quercetin and Black Seed Oil have no noteworthy significant side effects however, there are no studies on safety of quercetin or black seed supplements during pregnancy or lactation so please consult with your healthcare provider before taking.
Quercetin as a supplement is generally well-tolerated, and side effects are uncommon at doses of 500-1000mg/day. When consumed in food, quercetin is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
