Nxgen Beef thyroid capsules contains 30mg of bovine thyroid tissue.

Nxgen Beef Thyroid is classed as an NDT ( Natural Desiccated Thyroid).  As an over the counter thyroid supplement there is no standard amount of  T3 or T4 like what’s found in synthetic made prescription thyroid medicine’s.

Pharma and synthetic lab made products remove T3 & T4 using chemical solvent processes from pork thyroid or alternatively it can be made from synthetic made chemicals and processes.

As soon as T3 content & T4 is standardised in a lab it is a prescription drug. Some of these pharma grade prescription medicines claim to have 30mg / 60mg / 120mg of Standard T3 or T4.  An NDT like Nxgen Beef Thyroid has 30mg of desiccated bovine thyroid tissue not T3 or T4.  The two products are completely different. One capsule (500mg) beef thyroid contains 175mcg or 175 RAE of vitamin A.
1mcg (microgram) = 1 RAE (retinol activity equivalent) = 3.33 IU
