Use Grapefruit Essential Oil to Stay Young Forever

Get this- Grapefruit Essential oil actually stimulates Glutathione production in the body.

Glutathione is the mother of all antioxidants and the level of it in our body is considered to be a pretty good indicator for how long we will live!

The more glutathione in our system the better to protect against cell death and mutation. It’s also essential for our immune systems to function optimally and detoxification processes.

If we are deficient in Glutathione which, you guessed it is attributed to poor diet, lifestyle and environmental toxins than our body cannot deal with the oxidative stress that occurs on a daily basis. This creates cellular disruption and damage. It protects our cells from the inside out quite literally and that we definitely want more of.

Grapefruit Essential Oil is 95-98% pure D-Limonene and it’s D-Limonene that restores levels of Glutathione in our cells.

Dr. Hill recommends 15-20 drops a day to restore deficiency and regain cellular health. This could be a combination of topical application and internally.

I LOVE Grapefruit in my water bottle (glass only) and also take 2-3 drops under my tongue every day as it’s a highly absorbent part of the body that quickly accesses the blood stream.

I also apply it topically each and every day as part of my favourite Pure-Fume blend in conjunction with Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood. Grapefruit is pretty much covering every part of my body at all times every day as you can see. It’s safe to say I’m obsessed.

It’s one of my most highly used oil without a doubt and for bloody good reason!

Oh and it’s amazing for balancing hormones as well, specifically increasing progesterone levels in the body and flushing out excess estrogen. Just as an FYI….couldn’t help myself…

Dr Axe has some other awesome ideas on how to increase glutathione production in the body if you want to nerd out some more.
