Smidge Morning Magnesium

Product Description

Smidge® are the cleanest supplement manufacturers in the market.
Morning Magnesium is a balanced formula that includes three naturally-derived forms of the essential mineral magnesium — with no fillers, synthetic additives or preservatives.
It helps enrich your body with the magnesium it needs, while providing that boost of energy you crave from coffee. But without the jitters!
Our morning blend supplement works in the body by:
  • Facilitating the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a busy molecule that provides energy.
  • Supporting brain function and mood
  • Supporting cardiovascular health and circulation
  • Contributing to the proper function of muscles and nerves (relaxing them, too)
  • Helping to maintain optimal digestion
What makes our morning blend supplement unique?
Sometimes, taking too much of one kind of magnesium causes digestive side effects. So we combined three high-quality, gentle types of magnesium — malate, orotate and taurinate — in equal amounts and small batches.
Importantly, we left out magnesium citrate, which is in many commercial magnesium supplements and can irritate sensitive systems. Magnesium citrate (also listed as magnesium carbonate with citric acid) is NOT a recommended form of magnesium due to the interference of citric acid on the action of ceruloplasmin, copper and iron metabolism.
Then, we added a smidge of the mineral boron, which helps your body absorb all that magnesium goodness — and supports strong bones.*
Magnesium malate– Magnesium malate is a compound of magnesium and malic acid, a nutrient that helps transform food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s energy source. Increased magnesium and malic acid can help muscles feel energized and relaxed.
Magnesium orotate- Magnesium orotate is salt-combining magnesium with orotic acid. Orotates are magnificent at transporting minerals, delivering them precisely to the membrane within each cell. That’s why it’s incredibly well-absorbed, with very little of the magnesium ion wasted. Magnesium orotate supports DNA synthesis and tissues.* It also supports the elasticity of blood vessels, which is essential for heart health.* And, studies show this type of magnesium may improve athletic performance.
Magnesium taurinate– Magnesium taurinate is a compound containing magnesium and the amino acid taurine (your body uses taurine to transport magnesium into the body). Magnesium taurinate supports cognitive function and heart health.* It also fuels muscles and may help calm nerves.
Boron (as bororganic glycine)- Boron is a trace mineral that plays a crucial role in the absorption of calcium and magnesium as well as a critical role in enhancing liver function. It helps to keep copper and iron in proper balance whilst also providing antioxidant and antifungal benefits. It’s primarily known for supporting bone density.* And it’s found naturally in leafy green vegetables like spinach, and in grains, prunes, raisins, non-citrus fruits and nuts.
Morning Magnesium can be great for folks who want to:
Wake up with more energy
Support cardiovascular health, circulation and mood
Have regularity and smooth digestion
Soothe muscles
Ease mild stress and anxiety
Ease mild headaches
Magnesium deficiency, or insufficiency, is at the center of many many common modern health issues due to its central role in activating 3,751 proteins, and thus thousands of enzyme systems.
Each serving gives you 200 mg of magnesium and 1.5 mg of boron. 120 capsules (1-month supply)
Dosage:
Adults- Always start with a smidge! Begin with one capsule daily with food. Then take four capsules together, or as directed by a qualified medical practitioner. (See “low and slow” note below.)
Children- Morning Magnesium is not recommended for children under 5 years of age, as it may cause excitability. For children 5 and older, take one capsule and work up to two capsules.
How to take- Morning Magnesium should be taken with food in general, with breakfast or lunch. Avoid taking in the late afternoon or evening, as it may disrupt sleep. For best results, take Smidge® Evening Magnesium later in the day, to help you wind down for a more restful sleep — and to soak up a total of five different types of premium magnesium between the two products. If you’re taking only part of the capsule, you can mix the contents with yogurt or a smoothie.
Start low and slow- Smidge® supplements are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it’s critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a very small dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what dosage feels right for you.
